This kit proposes automatic detection of object to activate load. The proposed auto detection of object is done using the IR sensor to indicate the object presence. Microcontroller continuously monitors the infrared receiver. When any object pass through the IR receiver then the IR rays falling on the receiver are obstructed, this obstruction is sensed by the micro controller This system is used to turn on a load whenever the IR ray is blocked by an object, person etc. The transmitter transmits the IR rays.
This ray is received by tuned IR receiver continuously. Whenever there is an obstacle to the IR ray the receiver sends a signal to the microcontroller which actuates a load, from its output by giving the proper signal as per programming to the load control unit.
The IR continuously monitors the object. If IR sensor sends a signal (which signifies object) then a signal is send to controller which drives to energize the motor driver to drive motor. LCD shows status of the load. The kit comprises IR based sensing unit, controller interface for processing and load driving unit. The system can be used in conveyor belts, lifts and many industrial types of machinery.
