RFID SECURITY

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an emerging technology that promises to bring enormous productivity benefits in applications that require mass object identification. However, just as with any other new technology, widespread deployment of RFID tags has its own benefits and drawbacks. On one hand, RFID systems have great potential for further automating warehousing, tracking & tracing, preventing counterfeiting, reducing supply chain costs and introduction of a whole lot of new 'smart' applications.
information technology க்கான à®ÂªÃ ®Ÿ முடிà®ÂµÃ ¯
On the other hand, the ability to uniquely identify a tag enables easy traceability of persons and goods, thereby raising privacy concerns.Classical security measures or privacy enhancing technologies cannot be applied to general RFID systems due to their limited power and computing resources.
Another important issue is that the level of security and privacy, and hence, the associated RFID tag cost, depends on the application. For instance, for tagging a 10 cent showpiece, it might not be worthwhile to invest in a 5 cent tag.
However, to track a piece of jewellery priced at $50, it would a good idea to tag it with a $2 tag having sufficient cryptographic abilities. It is evident that there is no universal solution, but a range of solutions, each suitable in a different context. Moreover, for each context, the privacy requirements also differ.
The goal of this project is to compare existing approaches and come up with new methodologies to protect user's privacy in different RFID based applications. The strength and flavor of proposed security solutions will depend on the allowed tag cost for different applications.

ECOMMERCE STOREFRONT APPLICATION

Today, the revolution in technology is posing lots of challenges for businesses while also offering huge advantages. Businesses, more than ever, need to be efficient and cost effective reaching global customers but overcoming any complications in Communication, Research & Development, Procurement, Logistics & Order fulfillment, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain etc.Hence the need of the time is for enterprises to be proactive in innovating, becoming more efficient, reducing costs, providing customers with better user experience value and service building customer relationships.

In this project, we are going to build an e-commerce system integrating latest technologies to real-world development scenarios as much as possible, by setting up a full-fledged Online Shoe Storefront for a fictious company named Soccus in the footwear business.
The main objective of doing this project on not only how to build a solid ecommerce infrastructure but also the actual business aspects of the system. Solution: E-commerce solution is a development model for all businesses from SMEs to Large enterprises selling products and services online.
The model is envisaged to extend Internet advantage and enabling E-commerce capabilities in progressive stages to a full-fledged site for business.

LEARNING RELEVANCE ORDER OVER GRAPHICALLY LINKED OBJECTS

In this project, we look into the problem of learning a relevance order over a set of objects linked together by a graph, an example being, the hyperlink graph on the web. Previous approaches to the problem of learning relevance order have largely disregarded the fact that the objects are connected by a graph. The objects were represented as independent samples from some vector-space and the the ordering problem was posed as a classification/regression problem over these samples. We observe that objects are not really independent samples, i.e., the rank score of an object is not determined only by itself but by rank scores of other linked objects.

It is proposed an approach to enhance PageRank like link-based ranking algorithms, that takes as input, data capturing user's notion of relevance order over the nodes of an underlying graph and automatically assigns edge weights to the links of the graph, so that the concerned ranking algorithm (PageRank here), using this weighted graph, now orders the graph objects in accordance with user's relevance notion. Earlier approaches in learning relevance via edge weight tuning are largely sub-optimal and inefficient.
We use the principle of Maximum Entropy to search for an optimal assignment of edge weights. We provide preliminary experimental results on synthetic data to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach. We end with a discussion on how our approach can be further adapted to learning type-specific edge weights for relevance ranking over graphs containing nodes and edges of heterogeneous types.

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

The project titled "Customer Relationship Management - User Management and E-Mail" (CRM) is an integrated approach to identifying, acquiring, and retaining customers.By enabling organizations to manage and co-ordinate customer interactions across multiple channels, departments, lines of business, and geographies, CRM helps organizations maximize the value of every customer interaction and drive superior corporate performance.

Today's organizations must manage customer interactions across multiple communications channels-including the Web, call centers, field sales, and dealers partner networks. Many organizations also have multiple lines of business with mark overlapping customers.
The challenge is to make it easy for customers to do business with the organization any way they want-at any time, through any channel, in any language or currency- and to make customers feel that they are dealing with a single, unified organization that recognizes them at every touch point.

The Customer Relationship Management -

User Management and consist of functions like Organizational Management, Customer Management, and Employee Management with Administrator, Customer Logins, Employee Logins, a E-Mail module which consist of Mail Service with Inbox, Compose Mails and Viewing sent items.

CLINIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

From the beginning in the scientific laboratories and research establishments, computers have enclosed to become essential for modern business and industry. Today their presence in felt in all way of life. Making passenger reservation for the railways, forecasting the weather, monitor and run power plants, helping hospital to render service to patients etc.

Computers have very large storing capacity. Computers also do not make mistakes. Error in computing is generally due to negligence rather than logical faults. The vital characteristics such as them to play a center role in ourselves.
Since the computer is an electronic data processing machine, it can perform innumerable number of operators in just a few seconds. This processing speed of a computer is usually measured in nanosecond. Computer can perform a wide range of jobs with speed, accuracy and deligence. The areas of application are many :-
a.Scientific Application
b.Medical Application
c.Educational Application
d.Engineering Application
e.Business Application
